Arafen was "branded" by one of dark high-power-mighty associates of his father -forceful grab to left wrist and a bite to the neck(damn incubuses and their sex-drive XD)- an emblem has formed on the wounds, later he finds out it grants him incredible power at times but troublesome;

Being a youngster, falling in love wasn't hard--but the cursed tattoo he carries infects and affects ones that become dependant on him. He wants it rid of and to become stronger to protect his cherished ones but appearantly the sorcery involved is forbbiden-- and he seeks out someone strong and daring to teach him- just strong enough to never end up depending on him.
He doesn't want to taint anyone else.

Name: Arafen
Age: Old enough to know better, but young enough to not be weighed down by its limits; 16
Hair: Dark brown-that shines blood red in sunlight
Eye: Brightest grey

Traits: Bands on left wrist and neck to hide his 'shame'-no one else knows of them other than his father and the one who inflicted the wounds.
Unruly hair he absolutely hates(LOL)-without support, it falls to a shapeless emocut xD. Uses his horns to clip/tug/tie back stubborn fringes out of his face.
Naturally he hates rain, rain = damp/wet = CRAZY hair XD

Personality: Incredibly selfless, loyal and sacrificial to the people he loves. Kind, he would rather forgive than hold onto grudge-he's more interested in gaining power to protect others around him from badass crap rather than to pay back revenge. He may seem agreeable at most times but can be quite stubborn.
Doesn't like to put burden on people around him, so he keeps cheery and deals with his own problems.
